Our story
The Arch as a First Principle
The name Archado is built on the arch, the oldest load bearing form in engineering. An arch carries enormous weight by distributing force along its curve. That idea sits at the centre of how we work.
We are a civil and infrastructure firm that takes on demanding projects and delivers them with discipline. From roads and bridges to water, energy and structural works, we build infrastructure that holds up under load and over time.
Based in New Zealand and operating globally, we bring the same standard to every site, whether the client is a government body, a utility, an industrial operator or a donor funded programme.
We work as engineers and as builders, not one handing off to the other. The people who shape a design stay accountable for its construction, and the people on site carry enough technical grounding to make sound calls when ground conditions do not match the drawings. That continuity is what keeps a project coherent from first sketch to handover.
